The Arctic Trooper (Variant) is a variant of the Foot Soldier Zombie.

The Arctic Trooper (Variant)'s primary can be modified using the following mods:
- Less Frozen Reloader - Anti-freeze in the loading carriage results in a faster reload.
- Arctic Ammo Pouch - Arctic pockets create an increase in ammo capacity.
- Harder Ice Pellets - Hard ice pellets deal increased damage.

The Arctic Trooper, being an ice variant, can temporarily freeze an enemy if you shoot at them enough - making them an easy vanquish. Like the regular Foot Soldier he has a ZPG ability, Rocket Jump ability, and the Zombie Stink Cloud.
